FAQ
Questions & answers.
Everything about the unofficial Moon.com leaderboard and how the numbers work.
What is Moonleaderboard?
Moonleaderboard is an independent, unofficial leaderboard and stats site for Moon.com traders. It shows Moon’s published top traders and biggest wins, streams trades as they settle, and calculates win rate, ROI, profit factor, leverage and drawdown for every trader from public trade records.
Is Moonleaderboard affiliated with Moon.com?
No. Moonleaderboard is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Moon.com. It only uses data Moon makes public without logging in, and never asks for a Moon login, API key or cookies.
Where does the Moon.com leaderboard data come from?
Leaderboard ranks, profit totals and big wins come straight from Moon’s public rankings for the day, week, month and all time. Trade-level stats come from public settled trades that Moonleaderboard collects live and from Moon’s public trade history. See the methodology.
How often is the leaderboard updated?
Moon’s rankings and biggest wins are refreshed every minute. Trades stream in live as they close, and trader profiles refresh from Moon when you open them.
How do I look up a Moon.com trader?
Type any Moon username in the search box at the top of the page, or browse the A–Z trader directory. Each profile shows P&L, win rate, ROI, leverage, favorite assets, leaderboard ranks and recent trades.
How is ROI calculated?
ROI is net profit or loss divided by the total fee-inclusive amount wagered, times 100. Reused capital counts each time it is wagered, so this is return on wagers, not account growth.
What is Moon.com?
Moon.com is a platform for leveraged up-or-down bets on prices such as Bitcoin. According to Moon’s help center, traders can choose leverage from 1× up to 1000×, and a bet is closed automatically once it has lost the original wager, so the wager is the maximum loss.
What leverage do Moon.com traders use?
Many Moon.com traders use very high leverage. You can see each trader’s wager-weighted average leverage on their profile, and the distribution across all traders on the Moon.com statistics page.
Are most Moon.com traders profitable?
You can check the live answer on the Moon.com statistics page, which shows the share of tracked traders in profit, overall win rates and how results change with experience. Past results do not predict future results.
Can I copy trades from the leaderboard?
No. Moonleaderboard is a research tool. It does not place trades, follow traders on Moon or offer copy trading. Your watchlist is saved only in your browser.
